Picking paint colours from a tiny swatch and hoping for the best is stressful. We do in-home colour consultations — we bring large-format samples, test patches on your actual walls, and help you choose a palette that works with your lighting, flooring, and furniture.
Included free with every full interior or exterior project. No extra charge, no upsell. Just better results.
"They painted our entire main floor — living room, kitchen, hallway, and stairwell. The edges along the ceiling are razor sharp. Furniture was covered, floors protected, and they cleaned up everything. Looks like a brand new house."
— Priya & Raj K.
Full Interior — Leslieville
"Had our kitchen cabinets sprayed instead of replacing them. Saved us thousands and they look absolutely incredible. Smooth factory finish, no brush marks. Everyone asks if we got a new kitchen."
— Michelle T.
Cabinet Refinishing — Etobicoke
"Our Victorian needed a full exterior paint. They did all the prep work — scraping, sanding, caulking — which is honestly the most important part. Two years later it still looks perfect. Worth every dollar."
— Dan M.
Full Exterior — Cabbagetown
We visit your space, measure everything, discuss colours and finishes, and give you a clear written quote. No obligation.
We move furniture, cover floors, tape edges, fill holes, and sand. Prep is where quality painting starts — we never skip it.
Two coats minimum. Clean edges. We do a final walkthrough with you to make sure every detail is right before we leave.
I started Spectrum Painting because I couldn't find a painter I trusted to work on my own house. Messy tape lines, paint on the trim, drop cloths that don't cover the floor — I'd seen it all. I knew homeowners deserved better.
Today we're a small crew of detail-obsessed painters who happen to care as much about your walls as you do. We don't rush. We don't cut corners. We use premium products from Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams because the finish lasts longer and looks better — period.
Every project gets the same treatment: thorough prep, careful masking, two coats minimum, and a final walkthrough where we catch anything that isn't perfect. That's why most of our work comes from referrals and repeat customers.
We paint homes and businesses across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area — Scarborough, Etobicoke, North York, Mississauga, Oakville, Vaughan, and everywhere in between.
Answers to what homeowners ask us most.
How long does an interior paint job take?
A typical room takes 1–2 days including prep and two coats. A full house interior usually takes 4–7 days depending on the number of rooms and the amount of prep needed. We'll give you a clear timeline before we start.
Do you move furniture?
Yes. We move furniture to the centre of the room or out of the room entirely, cover everything with drop cloths, and put it all back when we're done. You don't have to lift a finger.
What brands of paint do you use?
We use Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams — premium lines only. Better coverage, better durability, better colour accuracy. We never use contractor-grade paint. The cost difference is small but the result lasts years longer.
Can you paint in the winter?
Interior painting is a year-round service. For exteriors, we need consistent temperatures above 5°C — typically April through October in the GTA. We'll advise you on the best timing for your project.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. All our work comes with a 2-year warranty on labour. If anything peels, cracks, or doesn't look right — we come back and fix it at no charge. Paint manufacturer warranties cover the product itself.
